Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. The image converter reads and processes your selected files in your browser, without uploading their contents. The website still uses the network to load page assets and conversion engines, including from third-party hosts. OG Preview is a separate online tool that sends the URL you enter to a metadata provider.
Does ImagifyConvert work offline?
Some conversions can continue after the page and their required conversion engines have finished loading. Opening a new tool or using another format may require additional downloads, so offline availability is not guaranteed. OG Preview requires an internet connection to look up a website.
Is there a limit on how many images I can convert?
There are no server-side caps or daily quotas. Practical limits depend on your browser's available memory and the files your device can decode. The main converter accepts files up to 50 MB each; use smaller batches for large photos or on a phone.

SVG output embeds a raster image; it does not trace editable vector paths. Decoding support can vary by browser and file.
Which format should I choose?
Choose JPG for photos that need broad compatibility, PNG for transparent graphics, and WebP or AVIF for web images when your destination supports them. Compare the result before replacing your original: converting an image cannot recover detail already lost, and a different format is not always smaller.
