## See the supported overlay before and after

This original 640 × 480 illustration has a synthetic overlay added with the tool’s supported mask. The result is an actual PNG export from this remover. It demonstrates the expected corner pattern; it is not a Gemini-generated image or a guarantee of results on edited exports.

## Made for the Gemini corner watermark

This Gemini watermark remover checks for the supported Nano Banana overlay in the bottom-right corner. Use original PNG, JPG, or WebP exports for the best match. Cropped, resized, or heavily compressed images may no longer match the watermark pattern.

It only targets the visible corner mark. It does not detect or remove invisible SynthID or other hidden provenance signals.

## A quick review makes the difference

Compare the bottom-right corner before downloading, especially around bright highlights and fine details. Removal may leave minor artifacts; export as PNG to review pixels without adding lossy compression.

“No watermark detected” means the expected pattern was not found. The tool skips removal in that case. Your export and metadata settings still apply.

## Match your result to the next step

Original export, supported corner markKeep its original dimensions and try PNG output first. Compare the corner at full size, including edges and bright details. A detection match can still leave artifacts.

No watermark detectedCheck the original export rather than a screenshot, resized copy, or social download. An already clean image or a different logo can also produce this result. A negative result does not verify the image’s origin.

Couldn’t process imageOpen the file locally to confirm it is a readable PNG, JPG, or WebP. Renaming another format’s extension will not convert it. If the file is valid, retry a single image before processing a large folder.

## Choose an export for your next task

- PNG for inspection: avoids an additional lossy encoding step. It may be larger than the original JPG or WebP.

- WebP for the web: the default output uses lossy encoding. Compare details before publishing; smaller size is not guaranteed.

- JPG for compatible sharing: uses lossy encoding and does not preserve transparency. Choose it for opaque images when your destination needs JPG.

- Metadata: stripped by default. “Keep original metadata” retains the source file only when no mark is detected and the output format is unchanged; processed or converted images lose metadata.

## Frequently asked questions

File support, privacy, and what to expect from your results.

Can I use this as a Gemini watermark remover?

Yes. This Gemini watermark remover checks for the same visible corner overlay targeted by the Nano Banana remover. It works best on intact Google Gemini image exports with the supported bottom-right watermark pattern. Different watermark designs or edited images may not match.

Is the Gemini watermark remover free to use online?

Yes. You can remove supported visible Gemini and Nano Banana watermarks for free in your browser, with no image uploads. Add PNG, JPG, or WebP files, review the before-and-after previews, and download your results.

What files does this Nano Banana remover accept?

The tool accepts PNG, JPG, and WebP files. It is tuned for exported images that still have the original bottom-right Nano Banana overlay pattern.

How does the checker decide whether a watermark is present?

It compares the expected watermark region against a local mask and checks whether the masked pixels are brighter than the surrounding area. If that signal is strong enough, it runs the removal step.

Will it perfectly restore the original image?

Not always. The remover reverses a specific semi-transparent white overlay. It works best when the watermark is intact and the image has not been cropped, heavily re-compressed, resized, or edited after export.

Does this remove invisible SynthID or other hidden provenance signals?

No. This tool only targets the visible Nano Banana corner overlay. It does not detect, decode, or remove invisible SynthID-style provenance signals or any other hidden watermarking system.

Why does a file say 'No watermark detected'?

That usually means the expected corner pattern was not found. The image may already be clean, may use a different watermark, or may have been transformed enough that the fixed mask no longer matches.

Does the tool upload my image anywhere?

No. Detection and removal run entirely in your browser, and the page states the same behavior as the implementation: your files stay on your device.

What happens to metadata?

You can export as WebP, PNG, or JPG. Metadata is removed by default. If you choose to keep original metadata, it can only be preserved when no watermark is detected and you export in the original format. Images that are processed or converted to another format have metadata removed.
