## How to convert HEIC to JPG

- Drop your images into the converter or choose files from your device.

- Select JPG for each file in the queue, then choose Convert All.

- Download individual results or choose Download All to save each converted file.

Your images are processed on your device. Some conversion engines need an internet connection to load. A loaded engine may continue working offline in the current session, but offline availability is not guaranteed.

## Share an iPhone photo as JPG

Use JPG when a photo uploader, email recipient, or desktop app will not accept your original HEIC file. Keep the HEIC as your original and use the downloaded JPG as a sharing copy.

### Example: an iPhone portrait for a photo upload

Choose one portrait from your device, leave JPG selected, and convert it. Open the download before submitting it: confirm the portrait is upright, faces look natural, and the whole image is present. Once that sample looks right, add the remaining photos and use Convert All. These are steps to try with your own photo, not a measured quality or file-size result.

### What to check in the output

JPG is a sharing copyJPEG encoding is lossy. Conversion does not promise identical pixels, HDR appearance, or preservation of camera metadata. Keep the original if you need those properties.

A photo is not a Live PhotoThis converter produces an image, not the motion and audio associated with an iPhone Live Photo. Do not use the JPG as an archive of the whole capture.

Size and quality are automaticThe converter does not expose a JPEG quality setting. If an upload needs smaller dimensions or fewer bytes, adjust the resulting JPG with the tools below and check it again.

### If the conversion does not look right

The photo will not decodeTry one file at a time and confirm you selected the actual HEIC image rather than a renamed file or a cloud placeholder. If that file still fails, export a JPEG copy from your photo app.

The result looks rotated or differentCheck the downloaded image in the app where you will use it. Orientation, color, and HDR handling can differ between the original photo and its JPEG copy; retain the original and use your photo app to export if the appearance is unsuitable.

A large batch stallsConvert a smaller batch and keep the tab open until it finishes. Large photos can use substantial browser memory, especially on a phone.
